1. WHAT WEDDING SPARKLER SIZE SHOULD I BUY FOR PARTIES AND WEDDINGS?

The most popular Wedding Sparklers are the 20" (2-minute burn duration) and 36" wedding sparklers (4-minute burn duration). Our smokeless wedding sparklers are perfect for your photos.

2.  HOW TO LIGHT WEDDING SPARKLERS

The best way is to light your wedding sparklers is to use our torch-type lighter. By purchasing our 5-pack torch-lighter kit you can assign up to five guests to help with lighting 36" wedding sparklers and 20" wedding sparklers. Coach a team of helpers to hand out and light the wedding sparklers. Have them light the first few wedding sparklers, and watch as each guest learns how to tap unlit wedding sparklers with lit wedding sparklers together until all wedding sparklers are activated. This process leaves plenty of time for the bride and groom to exit through a dazzling sparkling archway.

3.  HOW MANY SPARKLERS SHOULD I BUY?

The rule of thumb is to order one 36" Wedding Sparkler per invited guest. Remember, the most dramatic and beautiful photos happen when you have the greatest number of wedding sparklers burning at one time in the picture.

4.  WHY PURCHASE ONE 36" WEDDING SPARKLER PER GUEST?

  • One 36" Wedding Sparkler per guest is enough—you don’t need more
  • To make sure you don’t run short on Wedding sparklers
  • To allow extras for practice, rehearsals, and posed pictures with the photographer
  • To line pathways, or make wedding sparkler “patterns”

You may be thinking that at the end of the night, not all the guests will still be in attendance or that some will not participate with the wedding sparklers. 5. TESTING WEDDING SPARKLERS AFTER PURCHASE

Learn how to light Wedding Sparklers, and schedule a rehearsal before the big night. Many couples choose to practice staging the wedding sparkler sendoff the night of their rehearsal. This is an excellent idea. You don’t need to use the same number of wedding sparklers that will be at your actual reception, but it definitely helps to learn the process of getting everyone lit up quickly.

6. HOW MANY WEDDING SPARKLERS DO I NEED IF BUYING 20" WEDDING SPARKLERS?

The Dream Wedding Store suggests that you order 2-3 Wedding Sparklers per invited guest. Keep in mind that staging a successful wedding sparkler sendoff gets more complicated if your guests have to light their own wedding sparklers repeatedly. The best way is to use our torch-type lighter to light your wedding sparklers. If you purchase our 5-pack torch-lighter kit you can assign up to five of your guests to light the wedding sparklers for your other guests.

7. CONSULT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

Let your photographer know when and where you are using wedding sparklers. Photographers need to be prepared to capture the big moment and they may suggest staging a few pictures before or after the exit. Wedding sparklers stuck into the ground in shapes (hearts, circles, lines, etc.) look great in posed photos! 8. ARE WEDDING SPARKLERS SAFE?

If used with good common sense, and under direct adult Under direct adult supervision, 36' wedding sparklers and 20" wedding sparklers are perfectly safe to use.

9. ARE WEDDING SPARKLERS ALLOWED WHERE I LIVE?

All State Laws vary. The American Pyrotechnics Association has all of the state laws on their website. Contact your area Fire Marshal's Office for local laws and restrictions. Also be sure to contact your event site to confirm the use of sparklers at their location. Customers assume full responsibility and all liabilities for the possession and use of products purchased from “The Dream Wedding Store”.

10. CAN WEDDING SPARKLERS BE USED INDOORS?

We only sell Wedding Sparklers that are approved for outdoor use. Before using wedding sparklers, always be sure to read the directions on the outside of the packaging and follow all safety guidelines.

11. CAN WEDDING SPARKLERS BE CHECKED OR CARRIED ONTO AIRPLANE BAGGAGE?

No, TSA and FAA regulations do not allow for wedding sparklers to be carried onto or checked in your baggage on any airplane or commercial flight.

12. CAN YOU SHIP THE WEDDING SPARKLERS OVERNIGHT OR EXPEDITED SHIPPING?

No, Wedding sparklers are classified as hazardous material and can only be shipped by ground shipping. This prevents us from being able to offer any kind of rush delivery.

13. WHAT SHIPPING METHODS DO YOU OFFER?

All “The Dream Wedding Store” orders are shipped ground, due to USDOT regulations. 

14. CAN YOU SHIP WEDDING SPARKLERS TO HAWAII, ALASKA OR OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES?

No, we are limited to only ground shipping. Any location that would require the sparklers to be shipped on an airplane is not allowed.
